Sycamore Court gave a nod to Her Majesty the Queen during a special open day on Saturday.
In celebration of Care Home Open Day, and to toast the Queen's 92nd birthday, the residents and staff of the home in Magpie Lane, opened their doors to members of the public to join their family, and pet-friendly event.
A royal-inspired buffet was on offer to guests, with alcoholic refreshments, as well as a special pet competition with prizes from Sugar Hut, Warley Golf Club and The Greyhound Pub.
The celebrations were rounded off with a delicious afternoon tea, and a visit from Richard Broomfield, Conservative MP for Warley, and Father David from the local church.
Home Manager, Angie Bacon said: "At Sycamore Court, we’re always looking for ways to get to know our neighbours better and build relationships with the local community. Care Home Open Day is a brilliant way of bringing all age generations together for a fun-filled day, showcasing all that the home has to offer. We loved meeting faces old and new, and welcoming the younger generation into the home for another fantastic open day. They absolutely loved the pet competition and showing their animals off to the residents and staff. ”
