Beechwood Care Home were busy over the bank holiday weekend hosting a range of activities for the residents, including one of their favourite games called Parachute Ball. The activity encourages residents to exercise their arms as they raise and lower a large parachute, with the aim of keeping the ball moving in a circular motion.
Staff at Beechwood have found that Parachute Ball really helps residents feel empowered and valued through activity and exercise, and it also creates a lot of laughs!
