Baytree Court care home have been working hard to donate toiletries, clothes and food from relatives, residents and staff for The Forge Project.
The Forge Project is a Scunthorpe based charity that was established approximately 20 years ago to provide hot meals four days a week, shower facilities and activities for vulnerable people in the area.
The charity offers a befriending service which promotes emotional and physical well-being and the opportunity for change.
Stella Brackenbury, the Manager of Baytree Court commented 'we are pleased to support this charity, not only over the Christmas period but also into the New year; as we are in the caring profession this is an extension of our care, to not only residents, but also to society in general.'
The charity were over the moon with the donation which will support those affected by homelessness this winter.
