Whether your loved one requires assistance with daily tasks or more comprehensive medical care, our homes are equipped to meet their needs 24/7. Our team is made up of compassionate care assistants, experienced nurses, and supportive staff, working together under the leadership of our Service Managers to deliver the highest quality care, day in and day out.

We develop a personalised care plan that caters to the specific needs and preferences of each resident, helping them maintain as much independence as possible while always having the support they need.

Dementia Care

At Holmes Care Group, we provide specialist dementia care that supports each person as an individual. Our homes offer a safe, calm and supportive environment where residents living with dementia can continue to live with dignity, purpose and comfort.

Our highly trained teams have a deep understanding of dementia and how it affects communication, behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Through bespoke dementia training, our staff are equipped to respond with empathy, patience and confidence, helping to reduce distress and promote brain health, independence and meaningful daily engagement.

Care plans are fully personalised and developed in partnership with families, reflecting each resident’s life story, routines and preferences. We also offer guidance and support to families, helping them feel informed, reassured and confident that their loved one is in expert, compassionate hands.

Day Services for Older People

For older adults who do not require full-time care but could benefit from some additional support, Bankview Health & Wellbeing Centre offers a variety of day services. These services are designed to promote wellbeing and independence, providing a day full of engaging activities and specialist care. Using such a service can also assist loved ones who are currently caring for friends or relatives.

From reminiscence therapy to music sessions, our day services offer something for everyone. We are pleased to say that we also provide personal care services, such as assisted bathing, and delicious home-cooked meals. Our friendly and social environment ensures that each visit is a positive and enriching experience.

Palliative Care

Facing a life-limiting illness is never easy, but our palliative care services are here to provide comfort, dignity, and compassionate support. Our goal is to ensure that each person’s final days are spent in a peaceful and caring environment, surrounded by those who understand their needs.

Our palliative care is holistic, addressing not only physical symptoms but also providing psychological, social, and spiritual support. We work closely with residents and their families to respect and fulfil their end-of-life wishes, ensuring that their care is both personalised and respectful.

Support for Young People with Disabilities

At Holmes Care Group, we believe in empowering young people with disabilities to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Two of our homes; Craigielea and Beechwood, are designed to provide specialised support for those with physical or learning disabilities, creating an environment that is both stimulating and supportive.

We focus on a person-centred approach, developing lifestyle plans in partnership with residents, their families, and other professionals involved in their care. These plans are tailored to the individual’s needs and goals, ensuring that each day is rich with opportunities for personal growth and enjoyment.

Respite Care

Respite care at Holmes Care offers short-term support in one of our welcoming care homes, giving family carers time to rest while their loved one is cared for in a safe, comfortable and homely environment.

Each stay is personalised, ensuring individuals feel supported, respected and at ease from the moment they arrive. Respite care is ideal for those recovering from illness or a hospital stay, people living with long-term conditions such as dementia, or anyone who would benefit from short-term, 24-hour support. It can also be a helpful way to experience care home life before making longer-term decisions.
