This week at Preston House, residents welcomed Chinese New Year – the Year of the Fire Horse with a beautifully decorated dining room and a wonderful sensory experience. Traditional instrumental music set the scene while residents enjoyed Chinese-style snacks including prawn crackers and fortune cookies, alongside themed word searches and colouring activities. Each resident was also gifted an orange — a symbol of prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead.
Meanwhile at Craigie House, the spirit of Mardi Gras came alive as residents designed and decorated their own vibrant masks 🎭💜💛💚. The creativity on display was fantastic, with plenty of laughter and conversation flowing as everyone embraced the energy of the celebration.
