Welcome to...

Almond View Care Home

Nestled in the heart of Drumchapel, Almond View Care Home is a warm and welcoming community where tailored nursing care is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s long-term support or end-of-life care, our focus is always on creating a comfortable, supportive environment where residents feel truly cared for.

The home enjoys a central location with parks, Glasgow city centre, and a bustling shopping centre all within easy reach. Families and visitors find Almond View easy to access, thanks to excellent public transport links and a spacious car park.

Comfortable Living with Thoughtful Touches

Almond View is spread across two floors, with two lifts ensuring easy access for everyone. Residents can relax in a variety of cosy lounges or enjoy time in the lively café, whether catching up with friends or simply enjoying a quiet cup of tea.

A strong sense of family runs through everything we do, with many of our team members having been part of the home for years. Our experienced nurses and care team provide compassionate, attentive support that’s tailored to each resident’s unique needs.

Activities and Dining

Life at Almond View is all about celebrating individuality and creating moments of joy. Activities are planned around residents’ interests, from day trips to museums, local pubs, and social clubs, to fitness sessions, live music, and pet therapy. Seasonal fairs and themed events add extra sparkle to the calendar, while visits from local schools and nurseries bring generations together.

Meals are freshly prepared each day by our talented chef, with menus that rotate every three weeks and change seasonally. Residents have an active role in shaping the menu, ensuring their favourites and dietary needs are always considered. Special themed dining nights like African, Italian, or Chinese evenings, add a vibrant and exciting touch to mealtimes.

What Families Say About Us

The staff ensured my mum had a peaceful and dignified passing. From the home manager to the cleaners, everyone cared, and that is what makes a great residential nursing home.

Son of a resident

This may not be the smartest home in the area, but I don’t believe you’d find one with more caring staff. Mum’s last weeks were peaceful, calming, and friendly.
